Operations Coordinator

As Operations Coordinator, Channing supports the Foundation's daily operations, offering administrative assistance for the Operations, Donor Services, and Impact & Engagement teams. With a strong focus on organization and efficiency, Channing manages our front desk reception and helps ensure smooth functioning at the Foundation’s headquarters .

Originally from Santa Monica, Channing set her sights north and earned a bachelor’s degree in politics from UC Santa Cruz. During her time there, she discovered a passion for the county and made Santa Cruz her new home! With a communications and legal background, Channing brings a blend of analytical thinking and great interpersonal skills to her role.

Her passion for nonprofit work stems from a lifelong desire to make a difference in the world. She realized that true, lasting change requires a willingness to shift focus beyond oneself and towards the needs of their community. Driven by this philosophy, she is eager to enact change. She is passionate about supporting the Foundation, its donors, and the community in reaching their goals.

On the weekends, you can find Channing volunteering at the local animal shelter’s bunny room or at Blacks Beach with her dog, Lemon.
